Pictures from Days 1-5

This is our trailer & suburban, after our first night in the Roseburg WalMart parking lot.

The boys coloring in the trailer

Me cooking dinner. I bought some boxes of Hamburger & Chicken Helper to make simple meals on this trip. We don't normally eat like that. We had Chicken Helper and it was so darn salty. Do people really eat that much salt? We weren't crazy about it!

Our baby tiger in her cage :)

The bikes--they're getting pretty beat up on this trip, and I guess they were on the verge of falling off. Well, thankfully we picked most of them up for great prices at WalMart (like $35 for a kid's bike, and like $60 for mine)...Still, we don't want them ruined!!

Our trailer & my parents' motorhome at the Bakersfield WalMart. There were big power lines on the left side of us...That was kind of creepy to me, I'm paranoid about things like that. ;)

My mom with the boys, eating oranges
Noah and an orange tree:

That's all folks!!

Hey Jenne! This IS a wonderful adventure! We bought the trailer last summer (from our pastor, who kindly left a comment about the mice!). :) We sold our tent trailer to a couple from our church in hopes of buying an upgrade! We love that we don't have to pop up the trailer to grab a change of clothes or a drink, and we have a full kitchen to cook in, and the boys don't have to close their eyes when I'm getting dressed (I have a door to close), and I don't have to walk through a dark campground when I have to go potty in the middle of the night or at 5 am. :) We got the suburban just before getting the trailer. Our mini van set up wouldn't work with 4 carseats (they were too wide and nobody could get down the center aisle to the back), and we were going to be adopting Ruby. We drove my parents' new Tahoe (black like ours) and loved it. The suburban has more trunk space for the stroller and Costco trips, etc.! It also tows a big trailer like the one we got. :)
